Massachusetts School Bans Tag Amid Fears of Injuries, Lawsuits

Here's the story:

Two things:

  1. Is it any surprise it's Massachusetts?
  2. Is it any wonder kids these days grow up to be such wimps?

No and no. As if there isn't enough to worry about without worrying about that. I'd be interested to know how many children have actually been injured and sued the school over such injury.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. We are quickly becoming a nation of wimps. Pretty soon we'll all be walking around with helmets on.

If my eyes could roll any further backward, I'd probably get glaucoma (whatever that is). ;)

This entire topic, in my opinion, mirrors that of our culture in the U.S. SO many didn't want us to go to war. So many think we should get out of Iraq.

Why? Because we are a nation of mama's boys and scared little girls. They are scared. They are afraid. Well guess what? We are ALL afraid, but sometimes you just gotta stand up to the bully.

I think that sounds harsher than I mean for it to, but you know what I mean.

Sorry to sidetrack that way. Anyway, I think banning tag is absolutely ridiculous. If there are kids who can't control themselves from being violent, ban THEM from tag. Let the other kids be kids.
